 THE Shanghai Food and Drug Administration recalled the following diet pill(s):

• New VT and VT Konjac manufactured by Hunan Taier Pharmaceutical Co, and the Xiuzi diet capsule from Nanchang Chuanqi Health Food Co. All were found to contain sibutramine, an appetite suppressant.
• The Quanli Xueyu Shengbao diet pill made by Shaanxi Yangchuntang Biological Medicine Co was found to contain sildenafil and tadalafil, both used in medicines treating erectile dysfunction.
• The Banshengyuan Aloe capsule made by Xiamen Funingchun Health Food Co, which was supposed to boost the immune system, was found to contain phenolphthalein, a laxative. (Learn more about diet pill reviews)
